Plain Spoken Interview: The Case for General Superintendents (TLC Plan) in the Global Methodist Church

I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Jeffrey Rickman of Plain Spoken to talk about the major plans for structuring the episcopacy in the Global Methodist Church. While I made the case for the General Superintendency Plan (aka the TLC Plan), we did our best to fairly put that plan in dialogue with the Florida/Hybrid Plan. Watch below or click over to watch it on the Plain Spoken YouTube Channel.

If you're interested in this discussion, you'll probably also be interested in Reconstructing Methodism: Crucial Issues Facing the Global Methodist Church (Francis Asbury Press), a book that I edited and which focuses on the theology that undergirds the future of the Global Methodist Church. The book has a number of great contributors, including Jason Vickers, Scott Jones, Andrew Thompson, Paul Lawler, Madeline Henners, and others.
