I want to be sure that Theology Project readers know about this upcoming event at Christ Church Birmingham. Dr. Bill Ury will be the speaker for our 2024 Spiritual Renewal Conference which is focused on the theme of Everyday Holiness. If you're anywhere near Birmingham, consider joining us for this conference. There's more information on the Christ Church website. Just CLICK HERE for times, location, childcare, etc.
I recently sat down with Bill to preview the conference and have some conversation around the topic of holiness. We covered a lot of ground as we discussed spiritual formation, the broad renewal of Methodism, how Bill devoted his life to teaching and preaching holiness, the relationship of the Salvation Army to the Wesleyan-Methodist movement, and more.
Along with his wife, Diane, Dr. Bill Ury is National Ambassador for Holiness with the Salvation Army and is a respected leader across the Methodist movement. He's been both a pastor and a professor, and he's dedicated his life to shepherding others into a transformative experience of God’s perfect love.
I'm thrilled to have him participate with us in this conference as he challenges and inspires us to walk more closely with God and grow into a deeper experience of holiness. Join us for what promises to be a powerful and transformative experience.
